VOTING TEAM MEMBER

  • Has Program Voting Privileges
  • Must pass Sex Offender background investigation performed by Michigan State Police
  • Pay annual program insurance assessment
  • Assist in drafting program policies
  • Draft or assist in drafting program curriculum
  • Assist in presenting program curriculum
  • Assist in annual program curriculum review and revision
  • Assist in annual program calendar creation and publishing
  • Present program objectives and goals to potential program partners (e.g., Grantors, Corporate Partners, Non-Profit Organizations, and Parents) using approved program documentation
  • Assist in publishing a monthly newsletter
  • Assist in maintaining the program website
  • Transition Committee Team Members to Voting Team Member status
  • May be assigned a One-To-One Esquire Mentee
  • Approve social media postings

COMMITTEE TEAM MEMBER

  • Has no Program Voting Privileges
  • Must pass Sex Offender background investigation performed by Michigan State Police
  • Prior to committee assignment, stipulate to Voting Team Members their area(s) of expertise and how this information would benefit the Southfield Esquire Program’s mission
  • Agree to adhere to all program rules, regulations, guidelines and policies
  • Work under the guidance of a Program Committee Chair
  • Pay annual program insurance assessment
  • Draft or assist in drafting program curriculum
  • Assist in presenting program curriculum
  • Assist in annual program curriculum review and revision
  • Assist in publishing a monthly newsletter (supply viable topics of interest)
  • Assist in providing viable content to be published on program’s website or social media outlets

TO BECOME A VOTING TEAM MEMBER

  • Have 80% program participation during one program calendar year
  • Receive basic majority vote of Voting Team Membership
  • Be willing to pay annual program insurance assessment

TEAM MEMBER DESIGNATION

GUEST LECTURER/PRESENTER

  • Must contact a Voting or Committee Team Member 60 days prior to annual program calendar creation unless extenuating circumstances prevent early notification 
  • Guest lecturer/presenter must stipulate in writing to Voting Team Members their area(s) of expertise and how this information would benefit the Southfield Esquire Program’s mission
  • Must provide all training documents to the Esquire Program in advance of scheduled training or speaking date for review and approval
  • Must provide all training documents to be distributed to Esquire Program participants
  • Must provide Esquire Program leadership with audiovisual requirements in advance of scheduled presentation (laptop, projector, extension cord, etc.)
  • Guest lecturer/presenter must present their program itinerary in advance
  • Agree to adhere to all program rules, regulations, guidelines, and policies
  • Be willing (if possible) to make a 2-year commitment to the program
